Optima xm6 need help please?

Hello I just moved in new house which is fitted with an optima xm6 security system.
the previous owners didn't give me the code for setting up.
The panel has 2 red lights on (attack and Power) and the keyboard seems to be block. whenever I press any of the keys doesn't seems to respond
could anyone please tell me what i need to do. I probably think that I need to reset it back to the factory setting but i do not know how to do it as I do not have the manual or the engineer book.
