I HAVE A RIDING MOWER IT'S A MTD. I PUT A NEW STARTER ON IT,A NEW STARTER SWITCH,TWO SAFETY SWITCHES AND A NEW SOLENOID, AND BATTERY. I TRUN THE KEY, AND I GET NOTHING. PLEASE CAN YOU ADVISE. THANK YOU.
Make sure the ground/earth connection between battery (usually negative side these days) and engine block is all clean and tight. A careful check with a multimeter through the circuit from battery to starter would almost certainly find the fault. Please take care when working near any parts which may suddenly rotate.
