How do I programme my video into digital telly. Sharp VCR/DVD DV-RW360H?

I have an LCD digital telly. you can watch analogue telly and digital telly.
I have a Video DVD/recorder - DV-RW360H.
I programed the video in using the AV1 scart os directed in instructions. the video is programmned into analoge TV.
How can I watch/tape digital telly on the recorder. Do I need extra scarts or?
I have tried to ring the customer numer on the video instructions they said I should be able to tape the digital telly, they were going to call me back but never did (boo!).
I am clueless/desperate stressed about the whole thing and do not know what to do, any suggestions gratefully received.
