how can i fix my sons gilera dna 50 very dim lights?

my son has just got a 2002 dna 50 but the front and rear lights are very dim, all the other lights are ok. any ideas would be great fully received. we have tried another regulator but this made no difference and all the earths are good.

get a new 'variator rectifier' i have that problem exactly and i have not really a clue why, i got a new variator and it seemed to help. thest the voltage going through the bike.

You need a lower wattage bulb ie 35w i tried putting a 65w and it was ****

check the coil or get a voltage tester on the wireing
