if your system is a sky+ or has a multi LMB on the end of the dish then try pushing the dish up (don't undo any nuts) while someone is watching the signal reading on the tv via the signal test on the sky receiver.if this works the undo nuts and move the dish and re-tighten in new position, take care as it is easy to move it to much, try marking the dish bracket in the current position 1st as it is easy to go back to this base setting.
if no good then switch off and unplug the set top box and...
check the coax connection to both the box and the LMB, if the coax connection on the LMB has allowed water to get into the cable then it will need to be replaced, if there is enough spare coax then try to remake it into the LMB do not use insulation tape to cover this connection as it will let water into the joint. a rubber tape is available poss from maplins. failing all this then re-align using a sat signal meter as advised or get a company in to sort it.
