Peccavi has obviously never taken one apart before.
Remove batteries and remove the two screws you can see. There is a third one behind the black plastic head at the top of the remote . Squeese the two curved spaces inwards and the plastic cap should pull out. Behind it is the third screw. If you haven't got the small star head screwdriver, try a small flat bladed one but make sure it is a good fit.
You can now remove the back cover.
The PCB is also held by a screw of the same type as the cover.
Remove the PCB, then the rubber button templates and you now have the RC in pieces.
The only reason you will need to strip it down like this is to dry it out after some clown (my son) drops it in the sink full of water. If this has happened to you then you are in luck. Once the water and damp is removed from the inside of the keypad it will work a treat. But if it is a broken PCB buy a new one.
Good Luck!
