Mend Renault Megane Classic 1.4 Car Wont Start

my car wont start?

2000 1.4 renault megane classic was left lying up for over a year and a half i charged the battery up full it will turn over and trys to start and sounds like it wants to back fire but runs the battery down

ifit has been sitting up that long the gas is proably bad and will need to drain old gas and install fresh fuel...
