Hi, I want to change oil and airfilter to my mower, but I don't where is the plug to drain the used oil and where is the air filter.
Can some body show me or give me a diagram of Craftsman 917.377591?

what of the three holes on the transmission shift arm do the oposing springs go into?

There is NO oil drain plug on these models as hard as that is to believe. You have to gently tip it on its side and drain the oil out of the filler tube into your oil drain pan. Unbelievable huh? Steve

This is the manual for this tractor.
there is two drain plugs for this model.one on each side.the longer one is on the right asyou are looking at the front of the engine.
