Champion Lawn Mowers?

Similar problem to Leigh, except mine is ten years old and has lived under a tarpaulin and given sterling service with my huge,uneven lawn. Probably the rings have worn, hence the smoke, not worth repairing so am looking for replacement.

I have a champion lawnmower which (unfortunately and stupidly) I let run down on the oil. It started smoking on last use and so I checked it and filled it up.
It won't start at all now?
Is it worth taking into a shop to get fixed or is it buggered now?

Champion mower spares are supplied by post from Trenchex Power Products Ltd 01889 561500. They do not supply engine spares, which you get from agents of the engine maker.

i have a champion lawnmower and it seems to be idling a bit is there anything i can do to build the revs up a bit,it is self proppelled if this helps any
