generally speaking,The disk error problem may occur if some corrupted files are stored in the player or if the USB connection is disrupted while data is still being transferred. Please try to format the player with Windows Explorer (use FAT16/FAT32 as system files). Normally, the disk error problem will be resolved. u could get more solutions on mp3 players problem by this link:
