Mend Peugeot 206 HDI Engine Hdi

annoying winding bearing noise coming from engine compartment?

peugeot 206 hdi diesel 02reg any suggestions i think it is the tension-er bearing on the auxiliary belt. either alternator or power steering dont know but every time i rev the engine, the noise gets higher in pitch any ideas please mechanics preferably a Peugeot one.thanks mr f.

Hello,did you ever find out what the whining noise was from the 206 fanbelt area?.I have the same problem and am trying to cut down the options to what it could be.

have you found out the problem to the windiing yet? I too have the same problem. My car is a 96 Grandprix
