how do I get the front panel off my Kenmore Elite Dryer?

There are two clips located about four inches from either end of the dryer at the top of the panel. Open the door and use a putty knife or a pocket knife to push them down to pop them loose. There is a housing that the air goes through that has to be removed but that's easy. I think there are three screws that hold it on. Be careful when you are cleaning it. It has some sharp edges that can slice a finger or hand in a heartbeat. I know from experience. Putting it all back together is simple. Screw the housing back on and pop the front into place.
