How can we fix our refrigerator amana side by side?

The icemaker quit working. We checked the incoming water line to ensure no leaks. About two weeks later there is a slow leak seeming to come from the refrigerator door. We looked for a drip pan but could not find one on the back side or under the front side. About 1 week later, the food in the freezer began to thaw out so we took all the food out and took off the back and cleaned the coils and the fan with the vacuum cleaner. Now, the freezer seems to be freezing again but the icemaker still doesn't work, there is still a leak, and the door gaskets are hot to the touch as well the area of the refrigerator where the gaskets adhere to. Could this cause a fire?
