Take a sample of the fabrics and adjust the tension on the upper thread and/or the bobbin until it stops bunching. It may take quite a few adjustments until you get it right. My machine has a knob for the upper tension from one to five, with ten tiny points between each number. Your problem is most likely the upper tension. The bobbin can be adjusted with a screw driver to make it looser or tighter. To test for normal bobbin tension, dangle the bobbin from one hand while holding the thread. The bobbin should fall one to two inches in midair. Your needle size could be affecting it too. For lighter weight fabrics use a 9-11 sized needle. Good Luck!
