Motor was reconditioned about a year ago - armature is in good condition but I have cleaned up with some wet-&-dry paper anyway to ensure contact with brushes, which are also new. Still however the motor is periodically losing momentum (most noticable on spin cycle). Does not appear to relate to switch position/stage of cycle. Jogging machine will sometimes bring back up to speed Any thoughts?
More than likelly a loose plug / connection on the back of the motor, I had it. Use a wire tie or 2! Se if there is any heat in the area / plug assy (after switching off the power of couse).
