Mend Indesit IS70C Drum Start

Indesit IS70C . drum is free to rotate but does'nt?

switch on, press start, makes a sort of buzzing noise, heater operates, but drum does not. With lid off pushed drum around by hand but it wont continue. Motor tests good for continuity.

I had this problem.
If the belt is ok and it turns when you start by hand but then stops when it reverses the cycle, you need to replace the start motor capacitor (costs about £7) get one from espares.com
