how can i stop my vauxhall zafira 1.6 club from cutting out?

i've got the same problem with my signum, computer code read throttle position sensor... changed it, didn't work. so far spent over £600 on garage charges for it not to be fixed. i will try the egr valve this weekend. also i get a reading on the navi system saying parking light check left and the light comes on the dash. please help!

Discinnect the EGR valve as it should turn off on tickover and is not doing so.
This problem can one of many things but normally bad connections clean them all with switch cleaner and renew any earths.

I have the exact same problem have you found out what it is yet ,i was also told it could be the egr valve ,could you let me know

i had the same problem with my vectra sri. it was the cam shaft sensors causing the problems. a local mechanic fixed mine quite easily and cheap.
