HOW CAN I REPAIR THE ICE MAKER DISPENSER IN THE DOOR?
MY ICEMAKER FOR MY WHIRLPOOL, MODEL ED25TQXFW01, MAKES ICE BUT IT DOES NOT DISPENSE IT THRU THE DOOR. WHEN I PUSH THE LEVER NOTHING HAPPENS. THE WATER DISPENSER WORKS JUST FINE.
I have the same issue and just found that the dispenser door is not opening far enough for the switch to operate the motor. Try pressing the lever while using your hand to fully open the flap inside the clear plastic dispenser guide. I have not determined the final fix as yet.
