What is the temp gauge on the dash reading?
Any sign of the STOP & / or high temp warning light coming on?
Have you tried unplugging the temp sensor to see if the fan will cut in like it is ment to as a safety back up?
This is important: Does the aircon clutch try cut in when you switch the aircon on?
Check the cooling fan fuse, check the relay, if its not the fuse or relay check the fan motor, 12 volts in to the plug should make it spin.
Being a diesel they dont really get hot enough often to need the cooling fan so the motors do tend to stick solid through lack of use.
If it is the motor they are pretty easy to change once the grill is off ( get 4 each of both type clips first from a Peugeot dealer a couple £ tops )
The nut that holds the fan blades onto the motor has a LEFT hand thread.
