Mend Rover 1.4 SLI Brake Floor Car

spongy brakes?

the brake pedal on my rover 1.4 sli go's right to the floor and then the car slowly comes to a halt. they are so spongy can u please let me no what the problem is please. many thanx

And try bleeding the brakes.

First thing is DONT drive the car until the brakes are fixed.

Check the brake fluid level to see if you have lost any fluid.

You could have a leak, I would check the rear brakes if there drums for a leaking cylinder.

Also check over the brake pipes for any signs of leaks.
