security system on 2007 Yamaha vx110 cruiser waverunner?
I need to reset or activate the security. The waverunner runs . The remote does nothing. It is New. The dealer says I must bring it back to them. It is over an hour drive....inconvenient.
For future reference : The remote can not be reset . It is matched to the onboard computer from the factory. If you lose it, you need the number off the computer to replace it.
When I bought the waverunner from the dealer, they gave me the wrong remote. The correct one was still attached to the computer !
