how to learn remote control on rover 414i (1996) ?
I change battery on car and rem control don't work, i don't have security code or user manual .I'm from Romania and in my city (Iasi) don't exist Rover Dealer. I can't start the car .?????
Contact Techtronics in Manchester in the UK, they'll be able to supply you with a way of programming a new remote to you car. They can even post it out to you in Romania !

Remove batteries from remote reassemble remote without batteries press the unlock button for 20 seconds whilst pointing at car replace batteries in remote handset and try opening the door again, I think this will work.
