key fob on rover 45 2000?

i have a rover 45 on an x plate how can i reset my key fob have changed the battery and sometimes the car locks on the button if not i have to use the key when it does work and i get in car and try to start the car the immobler is stil on

Hello,

You probably need a new fob. Tech-Tronics 0161 860 0050, can supply you with that and a programmer for a about £90. A lot cheaper than a garage and you dont have to move the car if its immobilised.

How long did you take to change the battery ??? need to do it fairly quick as the fob loses the info if not done quick enough
