Spin Cycle Quit But Humming?

I have a Kenmore 80 Series Heavy Duty, Super Capcity Plus, Quiet Pak, 3 Speed Motor w/5 Speed Combinations
Model 110.20872990
Serial #CK3436563

Washed 2 loads of clothes...no problem.

Put 3 pair of tennis shoes in washer, everything worked but would not spin just hummed faintly. Water did drain out properly. Removed tennis shoes and tried machine again (empty) same problem.

Checked wiring, connections behind control panel, etc. Did not see anything wrong.

What could be problem?
