Mend Rover 416 Manual 20 Engine

Replacing thermostat on Rover 416?

How do you replace the thermostat on on ROVER 416 1996, the manual i have shows a 2.0 litre engine which has the unit in a difference place .

also what is considered a fair ad reasonable price to pay for this work doing by an garage

to bleed system loosen bleed screw on the pipe located under distrbutor turn heater on with engine running

The thermostat on a rover 416 is down the back of the engine,you will see a black pipe fastened onto a black roundish cover,thats it.It has 3 nuts to it and they are 8mm and the nut nearest engine is worst to get off because hard to get to but not impossible as i did mine yesterday,but now finding it hard to bleed the system.
