show me where the thermostat is on my rover 420 petrol (1999)?

is usually on the pipe at the left hand topside of the cylinder block(engine) if you r faceing it ,,,, just below the rocker cover....... is housed in a pipe there ,,,really is nothing to see,,, ,,,,u need to unbolt the pipe (quite tricky)...,,, i used extension bars under the injection manfold,,,... once u get it off is eay to replace......
