how can i fix my digilogic ddvdc-1?

every time i put a disc in it tells me wrong disc i have tried several discs with the same results.

I had the same problem I took the back off the tv and took the lid off the dvd player and cleaned the little laser lens with a cloth.

It works now

throw it out and by another - mine just went same way after 6 month - taking it back with receipt
