Spur on a ring circuit?

Is it within the regulation to take a 13A fused spur from a single point on the ring circuit to feed more than one socket?

in short yes.
reason is if to much power is taken then max power is up to 13 amps of fuse. MUST have fuse at front of anything. It acts a bit like an extension lead which has a 13 amp plug init.

If your spur of sockets (i.e. a radial line) is taken from the load side of a fused spur; which is in turn fed from the ring, then the answer is yes (as long as the cable size is kept constant, and the wiring is installed & tested iaw BS7671. You would also require a minor works certificate.
