Mend Micromark Hours Alarm Code

MICROMARK ALAM DOESNT GO OFF IF YOR GONE A FEW HOURS BUT WILL GO OFF IF YON?

I have a micromark alarm and someimes when i go out i set the code and it beeps but if im gone for few hours and come back it does nothing. If i set it and then come back in it will go off. It is a wired alarm and plugs into mains. it also has backup batteries wich i changed because i thought it mite affect i but no difference

check your bellbox batt might be gone in that i am no expert but had the same problem and replaced the bellbox and it cured the problem but should find someone that knows about alarms
