How to fix problem of Kenmore Ultra Wash not draining?

I was able to fix this after all. The drain line was plugged at the garbage disposal by stuff that I thought should have gone through the disposal. I determined to check for blockage at the spot where the drain line enters the disposal because in googling this issue, I came across someone who had installed his own dishwasher which did not drain until he knocked out the drain plug that all new disposals have where the dishwasher is to be attached. Google is helpful with these things.
