How can I fix my ford transit 1992 lwb 2.5d power steering?
The power steering on my van is making a groaning noise when moving and the steering wheel is turned, this noise is louder and the power steering seems to not work at all when driving slowly but the steering improves and the groaning noise gets less as I speed up. Any ideas?
Hi, did you manage to solve this problem? I have just started to have the same problem on my 1992 Transit. Any information would be much appreciated. Adam

yeah, it has got the fluid in, I have checked on that. Now basically the entire power steering has gone, at which point a kind of squeeling noise started coming from the power steering pump. I think I need to replace the power steering pump but not entirley sure. Any ideas?
