Mend Shark 412n Bobbin Thread Top Sewing

Bobbin thread looping with top?

I have a Shark 412n sewing machine and unfortunately I misplaced my manual so I have been searching online for a solution to my problem. It turns out that this machine was discontinued so they have no information on it and it seems there are no replacement parts either. My problem now is that the bobbin thread doesn't loop with the top thread. The top thread is absolutely normal but the bobbin thread doesn't come through at all. Any advice?

Hello sarah,
i would suggest that you make sure you have the needle in the correct way round which is the most common fault if the needle is not picking up the thread, or change the needle, if the needle is blunt or slightly bent the same problem will occur.
