How do you insert a replacement gas line in a Craftsman weedeater?

How do you insert a replacement gas line in a Craftsman weedeater? The gasl ine on my weedeater broke off. I have a replacement line but can't get it back through the hole in the bottom of the tank. How is this accomplished?

Trim the end of line at an angle. Insert a piece of safety wire through the lip formed by the angled cut. Feed the wire in the hole and pull the line through. The supply line, with the fuel filter, will have to be fed from inside the tank.
