Mend Morphy Richards 2200 Unit

morphy Richards Grime Buster Steamcleaner 2200?

The unit works, but when operating the handle, the steam only goes as far as the unit outlet. It does not go down the tube as it should do to be able to clean anything. Please help. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? Do I need a replacement tube? if so where would I get replacement items.

I have had the same problem, and found that the part is not available.

It is not the tube, but when you plug the tube into the machine the bit the steam pipe connects too has broken, and it pushes back. The way I fixed it was to Take the machine apart, Glue, with araldite, the plug onto the fixing plate, making sure that glue does not interfere the connector. Andy
