Why my scooter has slowed down from 75mph max to only 50mph max?

Drive belt could be worn.

With the scooter on stand, check wheel turns freely but you'll need to hold up by the handlebars to turn front wheel also your brake levers are not adjusted too tight, could be binding.
You should just hear them start to touch when right plus a slipping belt needs replacing.

hi your belt is slipping at high revs the same happened to my gilera dna so i brought a new belt and it has gone top speed ever since
