How do I replace the side mirror on my Fiat Panda?

For the new Panda unscrew the inside manual adjust rubber (it has a metal washer on it), gently flick the plastic cover off with a flat screwdriver, doesn't need too much force or it will break, best to start at the top and work down.
There is a large plastic nut underneath this cover that goes over the manual workings. Unscrew this, i usually use a cross head screwdriver in the little notches in the nut and hit it with a hammer if it is stiff.
On the outside of the door the triangular plastic base has a clip on it like the inside cover so the flat screwdriver is needed to remove the mirror.
