Mend Ford Mondeo Reg Car Started

mondeo td battery light flasing on p reg?

hi there my car has just started playing up. on tick over the ingnition light flickers on and off.and goes off when you increas the rpm.but when driving it drains the battery.have change the battery fault still there. please can you help.many thanks steve

Hi,
sounds like alternator, put a meter across the battery terminals with the engine running, you should get at least 13 to 13 and a half volts.
