Ideal Isar HE30 There is no display in the bottom control panel?

How can the main pcb board black on my he 30 isar fail and not blow the fuse my fuse is ok but still i have no display board light up and on inspection of the pc b it looks clean and fine no smell or burnt soldered diods ! So what is it that makes the boiler dead could it be that i keep swithing it off and on at the display unit when i go out for several days then swithch it back on when im home again need to know only 3 yrs old

Just had the same fault on ideal isar 24 he replaced the main pcb all is well

BEFORE YOU GO OUT AND BUY A NEW PCB CHECK THAT THE FUSE IS OK, I THINK ITS LOCATED NEAR WERE THE DIVERTER VALVE WIRES PLUG INTO THE PCB

If you're not getting the indicator light on the on /off switch & if there's no display / fault indicated on the facia, the main PCB has failed.

When you have it repaired, be advised, the new pcb is sealed & comes with a pack of "jumpers" not the wooly kind! These jumpers have to be placed on the pcb in specific places depending on the model of boiler.

Just make sure the new jumpers match the positions on the old pcb.
