My freezer works but my fridge wont get cold?

Looking at other post on this forum it seems to be a common fault with either zanussi frost free fridge freezers or frost free freezers in general. There are lots of posts on here where freezers work and fridges dont all a variety of zanussi makes and models.

I have tried to contact zanussi only to be fobbed off with teh "get a technician in" which will end up costing a fortune.

I did defrost mine for 48hours and it did work for a bout a month, now back to square one. It is usually down to the system not defrosting and it ices up the vents that carry cold air to the fridge.

New fridge freezer for me and its only 14 months old, seems to be a comon problem.

Hi, is it iced up? If not try turning it down around the halfway mark around thee and a half. Some ff's have only one control and if you turn it too high it goes into reverse and defrosts the fridge! This is how they are designed.
If it is not this, the thermostat may need renewal which is cheap and easy.
