Mend Electrolux TR 1053 Freezer Temperature Defrosting

FREEZER NOT FREEZING BELOW -8 C?

freezer not freezing below -8 degrees C

after defrosting my Electrolux fridge freezer i cant get it to go below -8C IT ISQUITE AN OLD MODEL TR 1053 THE RED LIGHT
NO LONGER FUNCTIONS THE ORANGE LIGHT (FAST FREEZING WORKS OK BUT I STILL CANT FREEZE BELOW -8 PLEASE HELP

The unit has either lost refrigerant gas, or the compressor is no longer pumping efficiently. In the case of 1 above, it may be repairable but expect to pay £50+ In the case of 2. Not viable to repair. Overall I would have to recommend you scrap it, sorry.
