My friends cassette got stuck in the cassette carriage and he was able to take it out, but now when I try to hand cycle the carriage,It doesnt move up to the loading position.
Take off the top of the player(4 screws), make sure to clear the tape from the path(So it doesn't get destroyed), turn it on and off. If that doesn't work, then push tape out from the inside with the film clear of the path.

You must be an adult, because you use a knife. Slide it under the edge of the tape when it tries to eject, you have to hook it and pull it out.

I can't get the tape to eject from the Magnavox VCR/DVD Combo Model#:MWD2205. Is there a way to manually remove it?
