Mend Honda HR21/HR21.5 Lawn Mower Petrol Engine

my honda HR21/HR21.5 "hunts" as if starved of petrol, starts ok?

My Honda HR21/HR21.5 starts ok and keeps going whilst cutting my lawn, but whilst doing so the engine "hunts" as if starved of petrol.

When l bought the mower some years ago, l was told that it required 4 star petrol(UK) and l have added a substance supplied by our locaL petrol outlet to the unleaded petrol l regularly use.

there is a spring on the carberator that sometimes comes off, that happened once and the speed hunted. This year it was hunting, I took off the float bowl on the carburetor and found that the needle came untatched from the float, becare ful you don't lose the pin or needle pin
