INDESIT WASHING MACHINE WE16S MAKING GRATING NOISE CAN ANY ONE HELP?

sounds like the main drum bearings have gone to me,a costly job,cheaper to invest in a new machine

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it is money in the drum as washing machine was making low grating noise last few washes but on the last wash I did its got much much worse (don't dare put it on again) it has now started da donking (loudly) and sounding like a jet engine. It makes this grating noise (seems to be coming from back of drum?) even when I spin it by hand now but obviously not as loud.

Anyway anyone, any ideas?? Please Help!!! :o)

sounds like belt is on way out or money or sumthing in drum or drainawy?
