Any car..., rechip energy management unit?

ok, found out the expensive way,had the unit rechipped,cost£150,this overides the imobiliser,they cut a circuit board pin also to stop any supply to the imobiliser circuit,may help someone else,seems common to rechip to get rid of this fault,spares hard to find? cheers.
