Mend Magnavox 55 Tv Yellow Screen

magnavox 55 projection tv yellow haze?

I have a 55 inch magnavoz big screen i just bought off of a friend of mine , the pictures was fine, i saw the tv working about a month before i nought it and it looked fine ,. when i got it home and hooked it up there is a yellow haze now on the left and right off the screen about 6 inches in. i have tried everything and dont know what it is , can you help???

You might try adjusting the convergence of the TV. In the menu, there should be a setting to manually adjust the convergence. You can adjust all the points, which may minimize, or solve, the problem. At the very worst, it will help brighten up your picture, and make it look better.
