my peugeot 406 rear door wont unlock?

peugeot 406 glx rear passenger door wont unlock with either fob ,key or manually, whats the best way to get it to open without the use of a stihl saw?

Peugeot Peugeot 406 Vehicles, Cars Unlock Passenger Key

When I was in the motor trade we used to use a tool called a skinny mini which you slid between the window glass and the weather seal to operate the rods that open the door I believe the police and AA etc still use these.
