Mend Renault Trafic Developed Fault

Renault Trafic Indicator coming on?

My 2003 Renault Trafic has developed a fault where the left indicator comes on at will. It can stay on for miles or just a few seconds, and while on I am unable to operate the indicator or hazards. Anyone any idea as I can't continue driving it like this.

Aparently it is run of the body brain, just wondered if there was an electronic trick, like disconnect battery reconnect then open/close with key a few times.
Flasher indicates all the time but only on left.

Getting connected to computer today.

i would go for a bad connection, or relay connection. is it flashing or just stay on ? and is it back and front or just one lamp ?
