How can I fix my AEG Favorit 5050 VI dishwasher?

Whatever programme I try it no longer fills with water.
I have checked the water hose - it is not kinked and water flows in the pipe fine. I am not sure if there is an internal filter / strainer where is enters the dishwasher but didn't fancy taking this apart just jet.
Waste hose was a bit scummy. Have cleaned this out at the waste end and I can only presume its clean enough further towards teh machine. Can this come off ?

Any other ideas?

Times - was getting stuck on other programmes but this seems okay.

It just won't fill with water on any cycle.
