my msn messenger isnt working please can someone help me!!?

i had the same error, i couldn't log into messenger or ebay. i tried everything but couldn't get it working. In the end i used www.remotesolutions.org.uk they remote controlled my pc over the internet and resolved the problem.

First open a command prompt by clicking start, then run. In the "run" screen, type: cmd and press enter. You get a command prompt window now. Now, type the following commands and press enter after each command: * regsvr32 softpub.dll * regsvr32 Wintrust.dll * regsvr32 Initpki.dll * regsvr32 Dssenh.dll * regsvr32 Rsaenh.dll * regsvr32 Gpkcsp.dll * regsvr32 Sccbase.dll * regsvr32 Slbcsp.dll * regsvr32 Mssip32.dll * regsvr32 Cryptdlg.dll You can now close the command prompt screen and Messenger should work correctly again. U MAY HAVE 2 REBOOT FIRST!

sometimes it isnt working because there doing something and it happens 2 most ppl unfortunately like rite this minute i cnt get on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you have recently installed windows service pack 2 then uninstall it.it causes messenger to fail.
