Mend Kenmore 110.60992990 Dryer Model Help

How can I fix my Kenmore Dryer Model 110.60992990? PLEASE Help!!!?

This morning I turned on my dryer just like any other day, but today it had a pair of my son's sneakers in it to be dried. I've done this before and NO problem. This morning, however, the dryer started just fine & ran for about 5 minutes. Then for no apparent reason, it just quit! I tried turning it on again, thinking that maybe the sneakers had accidentally "kicked" the door open. Nope! Now when I turn the timer on & push the start button, I hear it 'click' & I hear the timer working fine but nothing else happens. Not to sound too pitiful, but I'm a single Dad trying my best to raise my son & I really cannot afford a hefty service call fee, so if anybody could assist me, I would be forever in your debt! Go out and buy a good appliance repair book in a bookstore. I am a single mom and can fix so far anything that goes wrong with my washer or dryer. mine are both on the blink right now. But they are really pretty easy and inexpensive to fix yourself. Try it - you'll get a nice sense of accomplishment when you get it working again. Good Luck, LK

Well maybe I can help you out a little here. My dryer was doing the same thing Kenmore 110.96274100, I took the whole thing a part, checked every t stat thermo fuse cleaned the whole dryer out with compressed air, I did it step by step with the factory book but none of the trouble shooting charts help with the problem, I replaced the timer thinking that it was the problem according to the wiring diagram, but it still ran for 5 mins but stopped, what i figured out was that the blower drive motor was worn out and was overheating and tripping the thermo fuse on the motor, I spent 90.00 for a new motor and it works fine now
